About the Role
As a Market Booth Associate, you'll be a face of ChouxPieCo at the market — setting up, serving customers, and helping first-time visitors discover Trinidadian bakery classics alongside our French-inspired pastries and cakes. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role in a busy, fast-paced market environment.

-Process sales accurately using our POS system
-Keep the booth clean, organized and well-stocked throughout the day
-Handle product with care, following food safety guidelines
-Represent the ChouxPieCo brand with warmth, energy and genuine enthusiasm for the product
-Assist with set up and/or break down of the booth, including displays, signage and point-of-sale equipment when needed
What We're Looking For
-Friendly and comfortable talking to strangers all day
-Reliable and punctual
-Able to stand, lift goods, and work outdoors in varying weather for extended periods
-Basic comfort with a Point Of Sale system (training provided)
-Willingness to obtain a food handlers certificate is an asset but not required
-Previous market, retail or food service experience is an asset, but not required
2026 Dates
-Saturday October 17th (Training)
-Thursdays and Saturdays: October 29th - December 24th, 9am-3:30pm
(If you can't do Christmas Eve, just let us know during the interview)
Notes :
-The #19A Bus goes straight from the University of Waterloo to the St Jacobs Farmers Market, and #19 takes you back.
-On busier days, we may ask you to start as early as 7am
-This opportunity can continue into 2027.
-From mid-June to August, Tuesdays are also included.
